1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using THE EDITS ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the app. Simple as that.

2. Description of Service

THE EDITS is a mobile application that:

• Accesses data from your device (with your permission)
• Generates personalized "Year in Review" style recap cards
• Allows you to export and share these cards

The App is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Capable of forming a binding contract
• Not prohibited from using the App under applicable laws

4. Account & Registration

THE EDITS does not require account registration. There are no usernames, passwords, or accounts to manage.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Free Version

The free version of THE EDITS provides full functionality with some limitations (basic themes, branding on exports).

5.2 THE EDITS Pro

Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription:

• Price: $2.99/year (or local equivalent)
• Billing: Through Apple App Store
• Renewal: Automatic unless cancelled 24+ hours before renewal
• Cancellation: Through App Store Settings > Subscriptions

5.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

6. Permitted Use

You MAY:

• ✓Use the App for personal recap generation
• ✓Share your recaps on social media
• ✓Export and save your recap images

You MAY NOT:

• ✕Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• ✕Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• ✕Attempt to access other users' data (not that you could)
• ✕Use the App to create misleading or fraudulent content
• ✕Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our IP

THE EDITS, including its design, code, branding, and content, is proprietary. All rights reserved.

7.2 Your Content

Your photos, data, and generated recaps remain YOUR property. We claim no ownership over your content.

7.3 Sharing

When you share a recap, you are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any photos or content included.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your data.

8.1 Support Services

Customer support for THE EDITS is provided by Logixtecs Solutions LLC, a third-party service provider. By contacting support, you acknowledge that Logixtecs Solutions LLC will handle your inquiry on our behalf. All support communications are subject to their privacy practices in addition to ours.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Data accuracy (we display what your device provides)
• Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions
• That your recap will make you go viral (though we hope it does)

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are NOT liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Your decision to share embarrassing statistics
• Anyone judging your music taste

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless THE EDITS and its creators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Terminate or suspend access to the App
• Modify or discontinue any features
• Change pricing for future subscriptions

You may terminate by:

• Deleting the App
• Cancelling any active subscription

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We'll try to give reasonable notice for significant changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

1. Informal negotiation (email us first, we're nice)
2. Binding arbitration (if negotiation fails)
3. Small claims court (for qualifying claims)

Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually.

16. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and THE EDITS.
